About
Me.

Hi, I’m Múinteoir Shania. With experience in mainstream SET and now teaching in a Junior Autism Classroom, I’ve seen first-hand the need for meaningful, inclusive resources that truly support our pupils.
I began by creating resources for my own class, but soon realised there weren’t enough practical supports available for SEN and Autism classrooms. That’s where Outside the Lines Learning was born.
The name comes from my belief that not all children learn in the same way. Just like colouring outside the lines, true learning goes beyond rigid boundaries — it allows creativity, individuality, and inclusion.
Through Outside the Lines Learning, I design inclusive resources that enable SEN pupils to access the curriculum in a way that works best for them. My goal is to save teachers time, provide structured yet creative supports, and ensure every child has the chance to shine in their own way.

  • Created by a Teacher, for Teachers
All resources are designed by an experienced SET and Autism Class teacher who understands the daily realities of supporting SEN pupils.

  • Inclusive & Accessible
Every activity is built with SEN and Autism supports in mind — visual, hands-on, and differentiated so pupils of all abilities can access learning.

  • Time-Saving & Ready-to-Use
Planning is made simple with structured, printable resources that slot straight into your TEACCH workstations, small groups, or whole-class lessons.

  • Creative & Engaging
Seasonal themes, props, games, and sensory activities make learning motivating while reinforcing key literacy and numeracy skills.

  • Flexible Across Settings
Resources are suitable for both Autism Classes and mainstream classrooms with SEN pupils, so you can adapt them to fit your teaching context.

  • Built on Real Classroom Needs
These aren’t just worksheets — they’re the exact supports that have worked in Autism Classrooms, SEN groups, and mainstream supports.
