Infant Autism Class – April Fortnightly / CM x2
This bundle includes two fully planned fortnightly schemes designed specifically for Junior & Senior Infant autism classes, themed around Food. Each plan is highly structured, visual, play-based, and accessible, with predictable routines, simple language, and clear supports to help young learners feel safe, regulated, and ready to engage.
The fortnightlies are curriculum-aligned and cross-curricular, using Food as a familiar, motivating, and meaningful theme across early literacy, numeracy, SESE, SPHE, and sensory play. Activities gently explore different foods, healthy eating, where food comes from, and food groups, in a developmentally appropriate and supportive way.
Tasks are carefully designed to minimise overwhelm, reduce cognitive load, and offer multiple ways to participate, including visual supports, hands-on exploration, sorting activities, movement, music, sensory play, and structured choice.
